how do you park your car? techniques to avoid dents..
hey guys, I have been trying out different styles for ages and i can never tell which method works the best since i usually forget by the time i notice the dent...

I hope the above G riders don't mind me using this pic as an example.
(person parked to the right) is it to let other drivers be aware of him being careful with his car???... won't this also **** off some drivers who want to park in the middle? ...
I park downtown often and my work place has a great parking lot with a lil wider spots... what i did notice was... most of the highend cars.. SLRs, boss's R8, jag coupes, m6,m3, gt3s,gtrs, etcs. park diagonally. I picked up the habit myself...
when i park at malls, i usually leave a good amount of space in front as well in case the person on the other side decides to come forward a lil extra... would love to understand how others park. please let me know your style.. thanks.
p.s: the spot BESIDE the handicap spot is my favourite since i can park a lil closer to the handicap side. because the handicap spot is very wide and rarely used, a better chance of preventing a dent

Me too, another way to get excercise
I would never park beside a handicap spot. I have seen them bang cars beside them with their walkers or when they bring a cart out that they use as a walker and leave it there. It also seems to be the place where shopping carts accumulate.

I park far out but not at the back because I have had bad luck there too. I always try to take an outside spot along a curb or something so I can hug the edge.
Also we drive my wife's car most of the time when going to the stores or movies or dinner so I don't have to deal with it too much.

best way! but like others have said.. GFs HATE THAT. lol.
$100 bucks and a pdr master tech and you will never know the dent was ever there. someone leaned on my c pillar behind the quarter glass and put an elbow dent on the car. 10 minutes with the pdr guy and the dent was gone. i'm pretty picky and i couldn't tell it was ever there.

dent 4 life now.
