G35 Sedan owners...

Hey guys

My buddy is looking for a G Sedan X. Any major issues/problems that the earlier models had? Also, your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Depends what you mean by 'earlier'...consensus seems to be the best First Gen (03-06) is in fact the 06 X, not because it's newer but because it has the nicer styling/interior as opposed to the 04 year (no X in 03) but also it got bigger brakes. I can't think of any major problems.

'03 and '04 Sedan, '04 and '05 Sedan X
Front: 11.7-inch X 0.9-inch power-assisted vented disc - 1 piston
Rear: 11.5-inch X 0.6-inch power-assisted vented disc - 1 piston

'05+ Sedan and Coupe, '06 Sedan X
Front: 12.6-inch X 1.1-inch power-assisted vented disc - 2 pistons
Rear: 12.1-inch X .63-inch power-assisted vented disc - 1 piston

I have nav... I give it a 6/10 on functionality and a 10/10 on looking awesome.

It tricks you sometimes though and gets you lost. I wouldn't make it something the car needs, but it's a plus if it has it.
