I just bought a set of winter tires, Toyo Observe Garit HT tires with rims, 225/55R17 (or where they 45R17) either way i m going down to 17inch from my stock 19's with 255 up front and 285s in the rear to 225s all around..gonna be a interesting winter....i got a steal on the tires though, $650 with the 17inch rims, used though, but only 300km

i drive my G in the winter, im from vancouver, we had some pretty crazy snow last year, my rule is, if you are parked in your garage and you have a steep drive way, leave it outside when there is a lot of snow, especially fresh powder, i use bridgestone blitzak tires on my oem 19" rays, make sure you wash your car as often as possible to keep the undercarriage and brakes salt free, i use the touchless car wash cause it cleans from top to bottom and underneath, never go in tip tronic mode!, give yourself lots of room at ALL times, even if there is no snow, keep an eye out for ice on the roads, don't try and run the yellow light, and lastly if there is more then 3 inches of snow, take the bus!
snap your from ontario! TAKE THE BUS!

Just bought my G35 coupe a few weeks ago and debating what to do in terms of winter tires. Did you find that the 19 inch tires worked ok - where you able to get around last year? Where did you buy your blizzaks? Im thinking of ordering on tire rack. The tires are definitely pricey in that size
I was thinking of getting some nicer rims for summer time. People have been telling me to downsize to 18s or 17s but im still deciding
