I love RWD in the winter, it's a blast.
Weight in the back is a great time honored idea. Consider using dirt? Just a thought. As others have said here, salt is corrosive and if you spring a leak you may have a problem later ..... even with a beater ..... resale is always a possibility.

BTW Blain, if you go to Queensway for a quote, let me know and I may be able to hook up with you.

I had planned on giving them a call today actually. My bumper should be here around 12

And I'm not worried about the resale on that bad boy haha. It's BEAT.

Hey Im from vancouver 2....last year was BRUTAL.
Just bought my G35 coupe a few weeks ago and debating what to do in terms of winter tires. Did you find that the 19 inch tires worked ok - where you able to get around last year? Where did you buy your blizzaks? Im thinking of ordering on tire rack. The tires are definitely pricey in that size

I was thinking of getting some nicer rims for summer time. People have been telling me to downsize to 18s or 17s but im still deciding

I'm planning on putting the G in a friends garage for the winter, and get an SUV for the winter. Found if I buy it from an acution and then sell it private in april then I should barely loose any money on it, or so I hope. Now all I need is 10G's for a descent suv
