Winter-Just around the Corner
Well, I was looking through my photos and I came to Nov 22,2008.
Jumpin-jimminy
We got snow, lots of it on that day.
I was thinking of trying to get by with the All seasons this year on the FX (especially since we were going to be away for 6 weeks of it and also the FX is AWD) Then I saw those pics and said screw it, Since I always tell everyone else to get snows I thought, "Don't take chances" so I called my tire guy and got him to order me four 265/60/18 Blizzak DM-V1 winter tires.
Here are the pics that made me order my winters, and remember this was the 22nd of November
Can you see my G?

Had to brush and shovel the snow to find it.

Be warned it could come sooner than we think

My daughter lived out there and I visited quite a few times. Trust me, I would rather have the snow instead of all that rain, and I have been in Vancouver when it snowed and it was crazy cause they are not used to it.

Great photos Wayne. That's quite a dump but it looks pretty light. People from the west would get a shock if they tried to shovel our heavy wet stuff.
Good to see you're taking the safe route with snows.
I'm keeping fingers crossed I can get mine here sometime before snow comes and goes.

The only thing i hate is even with the VDC off the traction control will still kick in when you start sliding too much. Im gonna miss drifting this winter since my G is hibernating. FWD FTL!

I still have to put my Blizzak WS-60s on my car but I've been holding out as long as I can. This picture scared me though so I think I'm putting them on next week lol. Yup, I drive my car in the winter as well lol.
I bought a snow blower 3 weeks ago too, I do NOT want to shovel anymore haha. Too often I've come home from work and there's a huge snow bank in front of my driveway from the plow. Maybe if I had an FX I could ram it? lol
