^^^i dont think that its the Germans not catching on but more so because they still sell because people are brand ******. Why not capitalize on that simple fact. Theres no way id pay that much for it but i can think of a few people that would and i agree with everything else you said.

A) Cars in Canada are generally overpriced - look at what these things go for in the states and you will see what I mean.

B) Most of the deals that Audi/MB/BMW do - at least in the GTA, are leases. That is why there are as many 3series/A4s/C-classes running around as there are accords/camrys/etc (or from what I have observed at least) - lots of people that want to have the "show", and scrape by making monthly lease payments. lol @ foolish people - hopefully my tax money doesn't need to bail them out in a few years.

My buddy just paid a tick over $50k for an A3 2.0t Q and his bartering was "throw in a set of monster mats". If people continue paying for them, european cars will alwas be "over priced". What gets me is the depreciation! They lose 50% of their value in 2-3 years.
