Remote Starters

Remote Starters
Hi guys
just wondering how many of y'all have remote starters installed?
I'm debating on getting one. A few of my buddies have them on there cars and it comes in so handy when it gets cold out. Is it hard to install on our cars, all I want is just a remote starter, not a remote starter alarm combo.

I was thinking about one too, but decided to just buy a beater for winter. A guy at autotemp was telling me that there is a company making remote starters that plug into OBDII ports and there is literally no install other than the initail plug in. They were vehicle specific and he thought they would be in the $5-600 range.
With chip keys, they usually have to install a second ign. cyl. and key under the dash somewhere to appease the immobilizer. I think that is where most of the install costs come from.

^ Its costs $450-500 installed with the unit. I don't think they deal with Zenesis though. I have a compustar myself and love it, alarm and remote started but I have had problems with some of the icons on the pager, probably from dropping it a couple of times. I have been hearing good things about the Viper system.
