White smoke from exhaust
White smoke from exhaust
Hello, so I recently got a new motor, and I used 5w30 fully synthetic oil. Where i live it gets pretty hot, and one time i was going uphill and started seeing white smoke coming out of the exhaust.
My guess was because of the low viscosity oil and high temperature, so does my theory make sense or is there something wrong with my new motor?
PS: after letting it rest for a bit no more white smoke came out

It looked concerning, but till now didn't happen again. Will do an oil change this weekend and troubleshoot from there.
Which do you prefer tho, liqui moly or quaker state? (10w40 full synthetic)
