white smoke from exhaust and fuel smell. help anyone ?
Welcome to Driver!
With your car running after it's warmed up is there moisture dripping from your exhaust? White smoke generally means a blown head gasket! Check your oil for water and your radiator fluid for oil. Hope this gives you some idea of what's causing the white smoke...Gary
okay .
But how much is the price of a new motor for a 2004 infinity G35 coupe .and where is the best place to get it serviced.

Put Bar's Leak in the radiator. Drove my old truck 2 years with a cracked head after putting that in. Haha easiest two yrs I ever borrowed.
As I'm sure you've been told, white smoke it's coolant.
And the fuel smell means an intake manifold or head gasket is to blame.
If it's a leak somewhere in the manifold, no sweat. New intake and your done.
If it's the gasket, new motor. Not because there's even anything wrong w the motor
per say. It could be a $50 head gaskets fault. But if you dig into a motor that far,
you might as well rebuild.
But think of it like this. How great would your peace of mind be with a rebuilt motor? Pretty great right ? So I hope it's the cheap one but if not, that new motor will always be cheaper than buying another car comparable to the G.
