Yes, mine will not work on another ecu unless i uninstall it from mine. Same with my WRX, wouldnt work on another ecu until i uninstalled it and sold it. It would be nice if someone hacked it to work on multi ecus though.

Haha, yeah kind of ignorant of me. It would spread like wild fire and Cobb would probably stop supporting it all together. Must be some fart smellers over there though, if iphones, xboxes and satalites can be hacked, i'd be surprised if someone couldn't hack an interface like the AP.

*Disclaimer: G35Driver nor is memebers condone the duplication or (smart word for hack here) of software or any copywrited material*

That is a good point I will ask Cam why no one hacks them tomorrow, he is very sharp on computers and might know a thing or two about hacking

Well, anything can be hacked, you just need to have the correct software tools for it. So if someone makes the software to overwrite the current software for the port, its called hacked.

However to create the software, that a complete different story. Most of the times xbox and iphones can be hacked because there companies give out software development tools to other companies for creating new softwares, however that backfires as some software developers actually develop softwares that exploit the security of the current system.

I hope someone understands why this access port isnt hacked yet

dont ask my why i explained all this , I guess i am bored at work :P

Still don't have that new fiberglass bumper and sides put on yet- Really tough to find someone good at installing those parts. Any ideas?

On a side note- was working my grease monkey routine last night checking fluid levels and so forth- being the responsible G owner that I am. First cap I pulled off- in about 10 seconds I fumbled with it and it tumbled down into the engine well somewhere... the last plunk I hard as it somersaulted down the obstacle course was into the plastic cover underneath.

So that was me over to Brasso to get a new cap. They had one, Hyatt didn't.

Was going to pick up one of those 2 ton wheeljacks (he was the coolest transformer ever) and some jack stands but I figured judging by my luck thus far I'd probably screw something else up. Maybe we can dork around with it at the upcoming minimeet on May 8th?
