re. NHL Point System

I am for a new system entirely.

3 PTS - Win in regulation
2 PTS - Win in OT/SO
1 PTS - Loss in OT/SO

Every game gives out 3 points. With an extra incentive to win it before 60 minutes are up.

^ I've heard that one before.
Never gave it much thought, but it looks like it might work.

^ That's just more confusing and still being too nice to the losers.
How about keeping it simple and to the point.
1 point for the winner
0 points for the loser!

^^ They got it. Good thing, they need it.

Not sure what Cgy needs, but the latest is that Iginla has not ruled out waiving his no-trade "if they don't want me here". He says he wants to stay.

So are the Nucks imploding? How about D Sedin going after Bolland last night? I thought the linesman was gonna bust out laughing.

And go Bruins! I don't really care about Boston, but I will cheer against Philly based solely on that idiot Carcillo. He's a disgrace to himself and the game, nearly on par with Avery.

How good would a Penguins and Boston match-up be? It'd be interesting to see how many guys go after Cooke with it being the playoffs.
