Thursday night is going to be interesting with Phaneuf's return to the Saddledome, TO on a good run and Calgary looking to win two in a row since...well, a long time.
He got his first goal of the season against Edmonton
I just can't like the guy, every story i heard about the guy from people that know him personally is very negative
interviews he always seem like a tool as well.

Lots of talk about the Return of Phaneuf tonight. While I'm really looking forward to it because it's two teams desperate to win (or in the Leafs' case, continue to win), I think the whole Phaneuf hype will be a non-event, aside from lots of booing, which is unfair, he didn't ask to leave, they just needed to make room to sign Giordano and Bourque, which is 100% okay in my book.
I predict he will try to make some big hits but will instead be taken out by Sarich. I expect an uncharacteristically good game out of Matt Stajan, too.

Ya I agree about the boos it is not like when Pronger demanded to be traded from Edmonton, the Dion trade was Flames managment.

My predictions weren't too bad for a change, except that Sarich pancaked Aulie, not Dion, who was practically a no-show. I'll give #3 a break since he had a rough couple of days previously. Stajan and Hagman both showed signs of life...hopefully we can keep it going.
Can you stay out that late
I thought they locked the door on the retirement home at10:00

I would love to go but we have plans already....
i would live to go but i have to ask the wife first!!
how about Mr. Daryl Sutter "stepping down" as GM. it happened gracefully but i think was forced. good idea IMO.
Dion is a DB. my mom used to cut his hair when he lived in the city and ive gone for drinks on a few occasions with him. arrogant pr**k to say the least!

^ No surprise re: DP. I think the Flames needed a change, but now I'm a little worried they may trade one or two of my fave guys. Although Bourque and Gio are recently-signed, beyond that I don't care as much.

^ Yeah, I'm worried about that one, too, though the new management claims that trade is NOT on the radar, we've heard that one before (albeit from Sutter).
