I said to wife those people just messed up big time when when i saw it happening on the news...you can get away with that stuff today. Everyone is taking video, pictures ect people are too stupid for their own good I am glad to hear they are catching up with people that were involved.

Can you imagine coming into work the next day and seeing a picture of you rioting on the cover of the paper.

It's the same story as the G20 riot down here in toronto, alot of arrests were made later on because of videos and pictures taken by people.

Smyth goes back to Edmonton...what do you all think? I'm glad for the guy. He seems to have issues with raising his family in L.A..

As a Kings fan, couldn't be more excited. Never fit in, especially with that albatross of a contract.

I think it is a horrible deal for Edmonton giving up any player in his 20s not to mention they could have taken the 5million/ year and got someone they need...like a solid defenceman. I see Smyths point most of his family live in RedDeer right by me, but why Edmonton would Ty to get him bcd baffles me he is the opposite direction they are going I thought if they could trade Sheldon Sorray for him it might be a good deal

Anytime Edmonton trades for old, washed-up players, it's good for Calgary. Ha! I think he will actually do some good there for another year or two.

Can't say I'm toooo sad Calgary traded Regehr to Buffalo, I've thought for the past couple of years he's lost a step and loses too many races to the puck. And wrapping up Tanguay is a great relief, he's the only one who's shown much chemistry with Iginla.

I don't think there is a team in the league that couldn't use a player (young or 'old') that averages >20G and >50P per season. Smyth will be very useful to them for a couple seasons.
