OMG, what an AMAZING hockey game. Both teams played fantastic, and there is no possible way that a hockey fan didn't enjoy that game. Congrats to the USA for having such a great tournament and providing hockey fans with such a great game. IMO, Miller of team USA was tournament MVP. Congrats to team Canada for winning the GOLD medal. By them winning the gold medal today, Canada now has won more gold medals by ANY country in ANY winter Olympics. THAT is something to be proud of!

^ Good question. It's been a long time since I've watched a hockey game THAT good.

^ Yeah, congrats on your fellow Dartmouth boy on scoring the winner. I am sure it's party time down your way in the local pubs and bars.

Absolutely awesome game, OT was probably the most intense hockey I've ever seen. 14 golds, 7 silvers, and 5 bronze medals, pretty amazing with a slow start.

Did anyone hear about the Russian PM's criticism about their athletes' performances? I forget where I saw it, but apparently he said he wouldn't be happy unless the men's hockey team won gold. Talk about pressure

No different than our Prime Minister's thaughts, I'm sure, although I doubt Harper would cancel his trip to the host nation just because his team lost. Especially when Russia is the next host. Pretty sad IMO.

LOL, poor Russians......They're off to the Gulag!

Congrats to all Canadians. It's been a great Olympics and we did much better than I expected.
I must say I had a few doubts after 60 minutes of hockey in the last game. But our boy from Cole Harbour and all his teammates came thru for us in the end. They played an amazing game, and needed to against the strong US team.

I'm sad that it's all over now but man what a ride!!!!

Congrats Canada for such representation and entertainment.

Colin.
