Technically you don't lose points, you gain them... not that this post is helpful in any way other than identifying a slight misconception...

Last I heard it was legal to have a couple of beers and drive? Not everyone gets drunk off one or two beers.

the limit is 0.5 or 0.8. im not sure, but even if you have 4 beers chances you are over is high. i did not say i was drunk, but im sure i would of failed the breathalizer. the cop asked me are you willing to do one. i said yes. the cop aint dumb. im sure he can smell my breath, but i was being honest and said i had a few beers. if i would of said no then that would be a different case. im sure he would of tested me and charge me for dicking him around.

the limit is .5, average person use to blow over .8 with 2 beers, so the new .5 limit means 2 beers and ur ****ed.

btw, it's illegal to refuse a breathalyzer

Mythbuster guys drank 9 beers each and blew over only .01 and the other .02.

Everybody is different, size and weight matters sometimes.

my bad, i meant to say the law changed from .08 to .05, not from .5 to .8

but i guess you're right, u do need more than 2 drinks to get .08. 2 drinks is just what they told me back in the day for driving school, but i trust myth busters more than driving school instructors

But seriously, wft, it took Adam and Jamie 13 drinks to just get over the legal limit? something has to be wrong with the machine.

Those guys drink ALOT so that must have something to do with it. If a small 90 pound girl drank 2 beers it would be different compared to a 200 pound dude drinking the same.

Why even take the chance... I'm not a prude, but why put yourself in that situation anyway?

I'm not accusing anyone, just throwing it out there... but is that 2nd/3rd/10th beer even worth it? Just saying that for me the slight buzz that I get from drinking a lot of beer doesn't justify the risk
