Before you pull the TPs off, bring it buy the shop, I have to hear it!

But yea, it definitely is the test pipes. I din't think you have this much of a problem with them

hey roy sounds like you should buy a stillen catback, hint hint. send me a offer. i do have pics aswell, gonna take one more with my sig name tonight so i can actually post it. on here.

Being a coupe, I don't mind the sound of my car. I have a Apex-i WS2 catback, megan y-pipe and non-resonated test pipes. The car DOES sound really muffled and raspy between 2500-3000 rpm, but before/after that range the car sounds beautiful.

But if you'd rather have a less raspy sound, I suggest you put your cat's back on.

test pipes are the reason 100%!!!!!! i have a friend with a 350z and omg his car at 3.5k- 4k sounds sooooo raspy it hurts my ears when im beside him!!! just change to high flow cats.

im still waiting on my high flow cats its been 4 weeks now and i could of gotten the test pipes on the spot, im soooo happy im still waiting for cats!

^ +1, only reason i like the stock exhaust is because it has such a nice sound

OK so I just received my Berk HFC today, I'll get them installed on the weekend and hopfully things sound good again. Can't wait....

Yeah, let's hear if that fixed your problem. No G should sound anything like a Civic. You're hurting your brothers. LOL

Put on the Berks HFC today and ..........SAME SOUND!!!! a little less raspy but its still there, I found out its the stock muffler there's something loose in there probably due to all the extra airflow afterall it is the only stock peice left on the whole exhaust. Looks like I see an aftermarket muffler in the near future for me probably late summer since my basement reno drained all my cash.

That sucks Roy, to go through all that to find out it's bad mufflers.
