Has anybody run non-ISO thermal MD spacer through winter?
If so, any issues? Just curious if I should add the TB heater to mine this fall. Was thinking of maybe adding this kit, it's not too expensive.

My Skunk2 was fine, but it's composite, not metal. I can't honestly see how having a metal spacer in a metal plenum is going to cause TB freezing problems.

TBH I doubt you will notice much, if anything at all Wayne.
The Iso thermal is supposed to cut down on thermal loading of the plenum.
It definitely does what it's designed to do,
but in the real world you really won't notice it.
I had it on my '04 and the only place I noticed a difference was in stop & go traffic.
There was much better response at throttle tip in, with less bogging down.
Otherwise I never knew it was there.

Thanks Wayne
It was too painful looking at the avi of my G the way it was, now that it's stripped.

The gasket in the pic on the other hand, keeps the plenum cooler.

Thanks for the feedback, guys, I have some time to think about it.
Note, though, that he has purposely photographed it with its prodigious hood facing away from the camera so as not to show the Flaming C that is proudly displayed there, Trans Am Screaming Chicken style.
