Bye bye G
Bye bye G
Well it is time to say good bye to the G. Traded the G in last month for a 2010 Murano Sl. Missing the wonderful exhaust sound and the way it corners, but I needed more space. I can now carry a lot more in my cargo area and all the creature comfort of the Murano is nice, especially the power liftgate and the panaromic moonroof.
It has been fun, especially meeting many of you during the meets. I will lurk around a little and keep reading all those informative posts. If anyone is interested, I have a JDM DD kit for 2003-4 that I did not get a chance to install in my car. Since I can't post in the classified here, I will post it on Kijji and Craiglist.

Hey Chewy, it's always sad to say goodbye to a nice ride.
But I'm sure there will be something in the future when your needs change.
BTW, there's no reason why you can't still drop in to a meet with the Murano.

Congrats on the purchase, the Murano is a great choice. I will be picking up an SUV as well this fall for the same reason as you, more room. Hopefully you will continue to visit the forum.
Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. Learning to love what the murano has to offer.
I bought a brilliant silver with black leather interior. The panoramic roof is truely awesome along with the power liftgate. Just had VS clearbra put on along with 30% front tint done at Thronhill tints. They did a pretty good job. Need to get side step bars and also an USA spec ipod adapter. Miss the awesome exhuast sound of the G though, but learning to like the CVT tranny. So seemless.

Congrats Chewy!
It amazes me that some manufacturers, to this day, still do not include and iPod adapter (at least a 3.5mm adapter) as standard equipment, especially in a vehicle in the price range of a Murano.

Ya, I totally agree with you on that one. You have to move up to the LE model which is 10 gs more. However I remember that my G35 did not come with an ipod adapter. I still had to rip the dash apart to put one in. As for the Murano, it does have an AUX jack but it is located behind the front centre arm rest, where the middle passenger sits. Kind of an odd area beacuse it could be easily damaged. Oh well, let the modding begin.

Sorry about the G, but Congrats on the Murano. I just got mine 2010 SL Silver on black leather a week ago with Premium, 360 package, and Leather package just missing the HID's, the 19s and Navi but i loove the car. I still have the G tho.
