If your worried about tearing the rubber, it pushes down easily (not really easily but it will push down) and its not very hard to undo the four bolts that hold it down and pop it up either will work.

Well I "grew a pair" like Ian said and finished it Sun morning, it looks great! I'll post some pics soon.....I'm actually falling behind in the picture department I don't have a pic of my car with the Gialla grille, black housing Headlights, Carbon fibre door trim on the handles and now the shift boot.
