Anyone get caught out in this storm? My car was thankfully in a parkade at the time. My sisters Versa though looks like it had a golf ball aerodynamic treatment.

Hit pretty hard around my office in Bowness. Although a number of staffer's cars were beaten, the G seems OK.

I saw a RAV4 on Stoney that looked like it had been hammered with a ball peen. Windshield was smashed too.

We saw this system hit Calgary as we were on our way back from Dinosaur Provincial Park. We'd stopped in Strathmore for lunch just before 1:00 and were outta there by 1:30, just before the storm hit that town. It certainly looked ominous, and as we left Strathmore, my son identified the rotation and potential for funnel clouds. Sure enough, I read in this morning's paper there was one near Strathmore.. Luckily the part that hit Calgary appeared to miss us here in the deep southeast.

I had to park at the Airport with the G last week because someone was borrowing my truck for a few days. I heard it hit pretty bad around the airport- and talking to the guy in the booth it sounds like at least 1 person called in with a damaged windshield asking about liability. I didn't care about liability- I just wanted to know if my G is going to look like a big red golfball. The suspense is killing me- and I just found out I'm stuck up here for another WEEK! Argh!

My car was spared even though it was outside. Worst damage was around the University from what I heard. Saw a few cars from there and looks like they were just put out on a driving range or something.

Now the greenhouse at the university was a different story

LOL! I laughed as I scrolled down and saw the red dimpled wad emerging from the bottom of my screen... I knew that wasn't my car because it didn't have an ill fitting K2 bumper on it.

I don't have photoshop at work or I would of overlayed some of the pits to your car Maybe the hail knocked your bumper back into fitment? LOL

The interesting thing is that in my office parking lot, some cars were beat to **** and others right next to them were unscathed.
Honda Accord coupe got it
Mazda Protege got it
Christler Insipid got it
Lexus LS400 got it
Volks Jetta got it
RAV4 is ok
The G is ok.

My 07 G got mangled in a nasty storm in Kansas a couple weeks ago. I had to watch from the office and weep as the golfball and above sized hail beat the crap out of my car. My insurance is forking out $3200 for the damage. I was wondering on what the general opinion is about paintless dent repair is if they quote me cheaper. If I can put a few hundred in my pocket that would be awesome. Obviously it is dependent on the shop, but overall do they have decent results?

Did this happen anywhere near the Stampede? My kids are out there this week visiting their uncle.

^^ Yes, actually, but I don't think on the Stampede grounds. Mostly in the Northwest part of the city as I understand it, and the Stampede is central.
