Strange noise>>?

Hey, I recently purchased a 06 6mt coupe, all has been running well until the other day I heard a dull squeaky sound coming from the front left of the car(wheel, brake). Any thought of what it could be before I take it in thanks.

is your vdc light and traction light coming on? If they do then that means the brakes need serviced. There's a lot of things that can make a dull squeaky noise.

On the brakes or off? Could just have picked up some road junk between the caliper and rotor too.

Is it a squeak.....squeak.....squeak.....squeak.....squeak .....
or a squeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaak?

Does it happen when:
- you are turning right?
- you are going over bumps?
- you are braking

Could be bearings, ball joint or tierod end or just dirt caught in the brakes. Could be one or more of a lot of things.

Apparently you're not the only one. I've been dealing with a few creaks and rattles lately so this might be worth a look.

Hope it helps?

Welcome to owning an Infiniti product. Clunks rattles and strange vibrations are one of the perks of these cars.

No the vdc is off, and its a squeak squeak squeak just when driving no breaks or turning ect, just plain driving down a straight road no bumps.

Brakes most likely. The rear right on my old Toyota did the same thing, despite newer rotors and pads. Pulled the pads out, no defects, didn't look like there was an issue. Sounded like an issue though. New pads remedied the problem.

There could also very well just be debris of some sort caught between the pad/rotor surfaces.

It might also just be an infiniti product caught between you and the road surfaces.
