Anyone order a Stage 2 brake kit from CZP or Z1 Motorsports?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here has ordered the Stage 2 non-Brembo brake kit from Concept Z Performance, or Z1 Motorsports?

I'm looking at either of these two:
http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=2240

http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...3624.72.34.108

Or, does anyone else have a better recommendation for a vendor to go through that ships to Canada?

Thanks guys!

Cheers,
Wes

What would you suggest for brake lines/pads/rotors shipped to or within Canada?

I ordered akebono BBK from Mike @ CZP and it was a super smooth transaction. I would definitely order from him again! Great at answering all my questions.

Its really not too bad a deal for 4 rotors, lines and quality pads. The shipping will hurt your bum though!

HArd to say the quality of the rotors though. Rotors can be had cheap and drilled or slotted. Never know what you're getting.

I find the Akebono kit a good value if you have to wheels to clear them. Used stock Brembos are over priced though.

Indeed, brembo rotors are quite expensive, but the OP has standard non brembo 03-04 brakes. those rotors were milled from centric blanks. the pads are decent but not amazing

you could get the same quality rotors, pads, brake fluid (dont know about the SS lines) for $300 or with much better rotors for $400 from R1 concepts, shipping to canada is something like $70

I'm talking about a used oem brembo set-up is: rotors/calipers. The akebono kit is cheap for a good performing brake upgrade, the stock brembo set-up is way over priced for a marginally better performing brake system.

Can't argue with that. I agree the Akebonos are quite cosmetic and very heavy. The 14" rotors do offer good stopping distances though, but on street conditions i'm sure. My Subaru Brembos, had fading issues on the track, i've never had my G on the track though.

For the track or straight performance concerns, I just think for the price of OEM Brembos - new more so than used, money would be better spent on a Rotora, Wilwood or similar set-up.

Pads, lines and fluid alone can help a lot too.
