Fender rolling plz help

Hammering is the best way to get an even roll. Period.
It takes a lot of time, and a couple very sore arms. But the end result is far more precise than any roller could ever hope to accomplish. When the hammer roll is done, then use a mechanical roller to realize what fender pull you want.
When rolling from factory to flat with a fender roller, the body of the car can sustain damage far greater than would a small double sided ball peen hammer from unexperienced hands.

I do understand where your coming from. I said the same thing until I did a couple cars with a million year old welders hammer. Worked like a charm. Once word got around I had the misfortune of being called upon by two shops for a majority of their fender work over the course of a couple years.
