The shorter tires will cause another gear shift and negating the increased grip I try it already.

I JUST get into 4th in the last 50 or so feet of the 1/4, so im thinking I shouldn't lose time on a shift, but it was a toss up as it was. Hit rev limiter for half a second or waste time shifting. Taller tires prob would be the right route if the 1/4 was my only concern. I got far more though )-:

mabe try shifting a bit earlier and let the torque do the work cause our cars kind of fall on their face near cut off.

I was really surprised on my Dyno stuff in rd with lsi how dramatic that flop is. I had my revs extended to around 7200 and no amount of anything would help. Even cam was saying he couldnt believe the drop after 6400 or so. (bad memory). It just died.
