GEE35FX's Cross Country Tour
I thought it would be good to post up a bit of a report with pics on our trip Cross Canada and US from Ontario. I have been too busy enjoying the trip so far, it is amazing. Karen and I have travelled just over 7,200 kms so far. We are just over the halfway mark on our trip.
So far we have been
Started in Kincardine, Ontario
Mackinaw City, Michigan
Ashland, Wisconsin
Grand Forks, North Dakota
Weyburn, Saskatchewan
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
Swift Current, Saskatchewan
Medicine Hat, Alberta
Stratmore/Calgary, Alberta
Drumheler, Alberta
Edmonton
Red Deer/Sylvan Lake
Canmore
Cochrane
Banff/Jasper Alberta
Golden, British Columbia
Revelstoke, BC
We are now staying in Kelowna BC for a couple of nights.
Old Grain Elevators on the Prairies
Long Flat Straight Roads on the Prairies
Lots of Muddy Back Roads in Saskatchewan
Many Beautiful Streams and Falls, this one is Elbow Falls Alberta
The Bow River in Alberta
Beautiful Scenery 0n the road near Banff, Alberta
The Three Sisters
Nice Alberta Back Roads
Pretty Alberta towns (Banff)
The Hoodoos and Badlands of Alberta
I have lots more which I will post up later.

Thanks everyone, I recommend this trip to all of you. I will post more pics later tonight.
Hi Bill, yes all my pics up until tonight were taken with my Canon G9. The same camera I have been using for years.
EXCEPT, tonight we had a boo-boo. We went down to the Kelowna Waterfront (You never know, we might spot the Ogopogo Monster). When Karen got out of the FX she dropped the Canon on the pavement, I think the camera is pooched. Karen was sooo upset, but shiznitt happens. So tomorrow I will try to pick up a new Canon in the same updated model, the G12.

Just got back from a nice dinner on the Kelowna waterfront.
I will post more pics from the trip. These are just a few of them.
Karen and I enjoyed a vist to Swivelhips house. We met Mrs Swivel and family. Of course we enjoyed a brewski there as well. Nice family Swivel .
We met up with the Alberta Boys for a meet in Red Deer. It was great to finally meet everyone even if it was raining cats and dogs. Thanks for the help Gord and Dustin, the travel directions you gave Karen for our trip from Jasper was perfect, we loved it.
A pic at Red Deer with the boys. More pics of the meet are here: Red Deer Meet Pics
The colors of the glacier fed lakes is unbelievable
Moraine Lake, Alberta
Peyto Lake, Bow Summit, Alberta
Lake Louise, Alberta
Glacier Fed Lake by the Highway
Great Scenery and Fun Roads
At Revelstoke Dam, BC
Lots of Wildlife along the roads
