Why did my Topspeed Pro1 Exhaust get so much quieter?

Most BNIB systems will do that.
Most mfgs use a product on the inner insulation that binds it during the mfg process.
This usually makes it a little louder when new because the sound insulation is plugged up with this stuff.
When it burns off, the system gets a little quieter.
