Detailing Shops

Hey guys,
Weathers getting nicer and I'd like to get my car fully detailed. Any recommendations for shops in KW area?

Thanks

^ Hey great. Stephan is my neighbour, 5 doors down, so I will watch for you.

OP - Call him soon, I know he's busy into May.

^ Okay , my car is in really really rough shape...the hood is fading like acid rain hit it. Hopfully he works his magic and bring it back to when it was brand new

If you have heard bad things then that should be enough to make you look elsewhere.
I have never heard any good or bad about A1. The only thing I know is that a lot of those places charge a lot for a less than average polish job. I see that A1's 'Exterior Detail and Polish' costs $210.00. The price is good but how much quality and time can a franchise shop put into a job and make a profit at that price. Maybe 2.5 to 3 hours?
I'm guessing (from what I've seen) that Stephan takes an average of 6 hours on an exterior detail, depending on the condition. The results speak for themselves.

Personally I would never let anyone detail my car without references and seeing examples of their work. (no before/after pics on A1 website)

Give Stephan (or someone like Kevin, GTAinDetail.com) a call.
If Stephan has a cancellation he could get you in sooner. If not, it's still well worth the wait.

^ I waited like a year for Stephen, I was booked in before winter and he had to cancel because of his work, so now I am booked in again. Hopefully it's worth the wait. I'll ask him to take pics of before and after this weekend and i'll post them up.

How bad is your hood? Do you have a pic?

Really bad, its fading pretty hard looks like whole bunch of water marks that will not come off no matter what I do. Don't got pics but i'll ask him to take pics of it before and after. Hopefully it doesn't come back after the detail...

Is it worse than this. I shot this video, on the weekend, of him steaming a black BMW hood.

After the steam clean he clayed, polished and protected it.

Also does:
Engine bay

Wheels

Pretty similar to what I have but mines a huge spot right in the middle of the hood and not just little water marks. Damn, watching that got me excited of what my car is going to turn out like. No more swirl marks and light scratches
