Bum rap in regional threads

This sucks, how am I supposed to find out what's going on locally when I have to look through threads for the entire "region" of Canada. Anyone other Canucks wondering why we're getting shafted here when the USA is broken up into regional representation?

Add your two cents to my thread in "Site Suggestions" and lets get treated as equals to our US members.

I've never had too much trouble sorting it out, but I'll definitely take the suggestion forward.

ITNKICN came up with a good suggestion above, I'd incorporate the Northern Territories into the West and Middle Canada. Admittedly the Membership from these areas will be sparse but they're still part of Canada and there's got to be someone with a G in Whitehorse or Yellowknife.

Yeah except that having them blended together exposes the sophisticated forum craftsmen from the west to the uncivilized keyboard crippling baboons in the east and deters further participation.

Splitting them up may encourage more contributions from both sides...

Never installed them- holding of for a bit but it sounds like I'm going to go with a combo of the ES and SPL. Sorry- may have forgotten to pass that on.

There's a set of the latter for sale in the marketplace so I have my eye on those.

Believe it or not but it gets 30*C and hotter up there in the Summer sometimes. Is that weird or what? Treated like a God and sporting 26" Dubs to make it through the snow in their X.-lol

That's the idea. If this East/West or East/Middle/West split happens I'd like to also suggest Provincial "Stickies", that would allow for posting of local events and make it easier for new G owners to find out what's going on around them when they visit the board for the first time.

As someone said earlier, there really isn't enough traffic on this site anymore to warrant splitting the Canada section up into regions. It is more like a big Canadian family. When I have travelled across Canada, my fellow Canucks have held meets so we could get together, if we were in separate regions we might not know what is going on in our neighboring Provinces.

I have never had a problem seeing when events are in Canada and more specifically in the GTA.

Events can always be stickies so they stay at the top, you just have to make a request to the Moderator.

I'm inclined to say it's not necessary but will entertain further arguments.
