Moving to...
Well it's more or less official.
Many of you know I moved out west a year and a half ago- first out to the island where MXWizard took care of me and then I bumped over to the mainland where I was under the care and comfort of MonkeyNutz Racing.
It seems the gf (who was the reason I stayed in BC and didn't come home with my tail between my legs), who is involved in a highly specialized american sign language (ASL) course is restricted to taking the course in only a couple of different areas across Canada. Vancouver is one, some godforsaken place in Onterrible is another... and the last is Edmonton.
So guess what? I guess we're moving to Onterrible. No we're not. Edmonton it is!
Probably the Beaumont region- or at least somewhere on the south side. Houses are reasonable and I'm not going to lie the price of gas hovering around 1.13 for the cheap stuff (currently 1.43 for cheap stuff- around 1.60 for the 94 at chevron in West / North Van) has me salivating. She drives an Element which, to my surprise, is almost as bad on gas as my 99 4x4 1500 dodge ram- So that ALONE is a worthy motivator.
Anyway- I feel a bit arrogant to assume that this announcement is worth its own thread... but hey- here it is.
BC and their ridiculous policing, overzealous taxation and unfathomable price of fuel is a great place to visit... but holy 4ck I can't wait to get out of there.

Sorry to hear you're leaving the Wet Coast.
We'll have to go for a run up the Canyon before you go, if you have the time two runs. Be warned though, my runs have been known to be 700km or so. Give me a shout when you get back and we'll go log some files.
You were buying your gas in the wrong place, in the Valley it's almost $.20 litre cheaper even for 94. The Province is broke and Gov. had the cajones to take a 20% raise recently because an Independent Agency said that's what was fair. Idiotic TransLink and Carbon taxes...f@ck it, I'm moving to Edmonton too.-lol

Perfect. The trip through the mountains will be awesome to fine tune our cars lol. Mx- we will be around until at least August by the sounds of it. We will be in touch for a mainland visit!
Welcome back to AB, Eno, even if it is to the wrong side of Ded Reer. We'll definitely have to do another meet in September now.

Yes- one that I can attend! Haha.
I couldn't describe all the different reasons I'll be so happy in Alberta- but believe me they are many.
And not to sound mushy or anything but it'll be nice to be closer to the community of guys who brought me into the g world!
