Price for 2005 6mt coupe

Hi,

I'm wondering what is a good price for the 2005 6speed sports package model with no Navi.

My local dealer in Toronto gave me a price of $47,300 plus tax. I talked him down $2,000 only. Is this a normal price or are people getting better deals?

Thanks

For the record I think you played that one perfectly on the other thread. The way I would have under the same circumstances. It's unfortunate some others took significant offence to your approach.

BTW- This is not meant to start any flame wars.

Good luck with the new ride. You're going to love it.

Wow you actually posted the number. The secret is out...
If that is what you paid for the 2005 6spd COUPE with all freight/pdi gst/pst you got a great deal in my opinion. That works about to approx $45,250 before the freight/pdi etc. Very good deal.

if he paid $54,700 tax and freight in, then less 15%tax and freight of that would be $46,291. or basically he got ~$3000 off the retail price. dealer still made at least $2000+ profit on that deal...but he got a very good deal consumer wise. good job. thats approximately how much I negotiated when I got my 04 in april.

why do you think posting a price would be secret? everyone knows dealers out there to rip people off, or most of them anyways...if we at forums are not here to help each other, then why are we here I don't know.

most accurate and most intellectual thought i've seen on this issue thus far.

amazing... u rage against me in another thread and now come back again and use more sarcasm. as i suspected... none of the flamers came back with their own numbers for reference. i regret posting it in the first place and deleted the original. this thread holds nothing of value for anyone. someone lock it and throw away the key.

-regards.

Good advice.......You've both thrown your punches and landed substantially.
Now let's start off anew somewhere else as G brothers.
