Some of the guys from upper Canada might know what a Keiths is, but I doubt the western Canadians do. I am not sure if Keiths is exported out west or not.

I used to live in Alberta and BC (now in TO) and Kieth's was always a popular choice at home and at the bar. It's just as common out West (draft & otherwise) as it is in Ontario.
Now the question is, do you Easterners know what Kokanee is? Kokanee and Kokanee Gold are both great beers brewed in Creston, BC, right in the heart of the BC Rockies. In Ontario, Kokanee is available at your local "The Beer Store", but I haven't been able to find Kokanee Gold.
The weather is slowly warming up here in TO as well (+3C yesterday). I can't wait to pull the G out of the garage.

while visiting my daughter when she went to UBC. We had +6C here in Kincardine yesterday, My G received a good hand wash in the driveway. Today it is +5C already but with rain.Wayne

Good to know you guys out west are able to get Altexander Keiths! I was introduced to Kokanee when I lived out in Lake Louise for a year back in 92. Kokanne was pretty much all I drank. I remember they had a beer the came in the older short stubby bottles and it was just called "beer"......does that still exist out there.?? It was super cheap to buy. It wasn't the best tasting beer and it really gave you ***** in the morning!
Anyways, Kokanee arrived in the maritimes (or at least in NB) about 2-3 years ago. Great beer with a distinct taste. I haven't the Kokanee Gold though.

I have seen the vintage stubby bottles labelled "beer" before, but have never had the joy of having one. Unfortunately, I dont' think they make it anymore.

Yep I know what Kokanee is. Just like Canuck I haven't had the gold though.
I used to live in Winnipeg and have travelled to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver etc so have had a few local brews in my time.
