replacing Battery...

I think the time has come for my battery to be replaced but before I do so I was reading the manual and it states to inspect the tubes for low levels of distilled water, would this play a part in it not being able to hold a charge?

If the car sits for more than 2 days it sounds like its not going to start also my interior dash lights flicker.

Another question I have does anyone know what the G35 Cold cranking Amps rating is? I briefly looked at the battery but didn't see a rating. reason for me asking is I have a new battery for a Nissan in my garage and Id like to use it if I can.

I have the yellow top optima on my birthday wishlist. Read the link above, I'm sure it would be beneficial to you.
