Alignment work in the GTA?

I just got the Eibach prokit installed on my G35X today and its great. Now my question is where is a good place to get alignment done on my car to bring it back as close to factory spec as possible.

On another note, the guy that did my spring and brake kit install mentioned he knows a good guy that does custom turbo work and can whip something up for our cars for get this ... around $3000. I was so tempted, but since my car is still less than 1 year old. I want to enjoy my warranty a little longer I'll put my cash towards some rims instead.. for now anyway.

How much did you pay for your spring install and where?

The dealer can align your car or pretty much anywhere since it isn't too low.

I got my springs and brakes installed for $200 flat. It should be just $100 for the springs (bring cash) . The place is called Alex Performance Exhaust in Scarborough. It was recommended by Coupe owner on another board. Warning the place / area looks really ghetto and I was hesitant at first, but I figured the dude with the coupe did it and the price was right.

As for going to the dealer for alignment I am trying to avoid being ripped off if I can help it. I recall the last time I was at the dealer to get my maintenance work done, the pricing chart showed something in the area of $100 for an alignment. Just as a comparison a dealer quoted me $300 for the spring install and another $400 for the brakes. So I saved $500 by not going to the dealer.

Woodbridge Alignment is recommended by a number of tire shops. They are usually booked up, so avoid Saturdays.

Any other suggestions for a mechanic in the GTA? Did Alex Performance Exhaust also do your brakes???

froeman, yes both springs and brakes.

Any places in Scarborouh or even Markham? As much as I like driving my G, Woodbridge is a bit out of the way.

usually, I don't find dealerships cost too much more for alignment than other shops. Woodbridge Alignment charged $95 for 4-wheel alignment. From my Acura days, I remember that an alignment was around $100.

How much did that shop charge you for the brake work?

$200 for everything, including the Eibach springs install and the Stoptech kit which had new brake lines, pads, cross drilled rotors and Motoul brake fluid

hey bigwilly glad everything worked out with Alex! He's a great guy and he will stay working on any of your cars til the early morning if he needs to.

He's more of a friend than a mechanic to me...everytime I bring my car there I always go late and order some pizza and bring some beers. He is totally cool with you using his tools as well if you want to do some small mods yourself while he does the dirty work.

I have to go next week to get all my camber stuff done...to be honest..I cant wait!! He's that great of a guy.

I got the alignment done in a place called Greenlink Auto in Richmond Hill. I don't think they have the equipment there, but at least they found the place to fix my coupe's alignment....and keep in mind that my coupe was so low that can't get onto most alignment machine.
