guages stop working
i was driving around and all of a sudden my guages stop working...
i dont even know how fast im going or how much gas i have...
so i made an appointment at richmond infiniti service to fix it..
they checked it out for probbaly 1 min and said i wasnt under warranty because of aftermarket sub and amp and they charged me 60 bucks to look at it for 1min!!! i dont want to pay them like 300 bucks to fix a little wire..
what should i do now.. . should i go to another dealership? i dont want to go and hear them say im not under warranty and charge me 60 bucks for nothing

Richmond
Rollout...I believe you are talking about Richmond Infiniti in BC, correct. If so try going to Regency. There is a huge sticky on threads with guys having problems with Richmond.
You can check it out here at g35.ca on this sticky :

meaning fused & not tapped into other circuits, then there
should not be any warrantee issues.

Wow Ian, I just read that thread on g35.ca......what a nightmare for that guy!! I can't imagine getting treated like that from a dealer.

Yeah Wayne, its amazing that they are still in business. I just posted my own two cents there. And how can the dealer charge customers for warrantied items?? That thread had a couple of examples of that...ie..rattles.
They seem to be all about making the extra buck and screwing all their customers in the process.

i finally got my guages working..
richmond infiniti at first said it was a problem because of the awp and sub ..
but i found out the fuse broke and needed replacing... thats it...
richmond propbably would of charge me 200 just to fix a stupid fuse..
i was suppose to be under warranty too but they blamed it on another problem so they wouldnt have to fix it
i wouldnt recommend anyone to go to richmond infiniti.

Glad it was something simple.
Those guys at Richmond are idiots.
Could you imagine what it would do for there rep if they approached the issue like this........
