and more of Lunenburg.........Specificly a couple of huge trawlers in the harbour; a view of Lunenburg from across the harbour looking back from the golf course; one of an Irish Wolfhound I 'bumped' into at the wharf; and one of the 'Acadamy' in Lunenburg....a public middle school of good rep.

and finally........ a view of service areas in and around Lunenburg harbour, a pic of one of the few Infinitis (FX-35) I saw down east, and my friend Michael, his in-laws, and his pooch 'Drum'. (he had 'Fife & Drum' until their loss of Fife recently.

Thanks guys. I'm better today, but still recovering. I think it must have been some flu I had..........tho it didn't dampen my trip.
The pictures and 'spiel' don't do the east justice, really. It's a very special place, with so much to see and do.
Deane, I hope all went well in Chicago this weekend......Did you get in a '2
00' in that run?
I'm sure you did very well.
Did you tell me you found the camera you misplaced a week or so ago?
Colin.

We're happy beginning to feel better. That sounds like a nasty bug you had.
Thanks for the comments too about our home province. It truly is a jewel.
Yes my run went well. No 2:45 for me as that's way out of my league. However it was my fastest yet and my biggest improvement by a lot in 6 years. I ran 3:09:47 (7:14/mile pace) taking six minutes of my previous best and finished 1339/33,000 overall. My age class result was 110/2168 and I was 288/5231 male masters overall.
The big story is my two younger buddies who ran 2:35 and 2:42 finishing 93rd and 172nd overall and 8th & 13th in their age classes respectively. Incredible. As a result of their performance we believe we have a good shot at winning the team challenge.
BTW I found my camera.

00. He says for his age, (my age), that time isn't bad. He's also been invited to the Boston and NY a few times and done very well.I wouldn't be surprised if you and he had 'slogged it out' in the same race a time or 2.
Kudos for the training and sacrifices you go thru to compete...
, and congrats to your speedy friends who did well too.I'm already thinking of a return visit probably next spring. Would be something terrific to look forward to while waiting out our winter doldrums.
I usually have great luck with weather on my travels, so maybe I can bring some sunshine and fine weather with me then too.
Colin.

Great pics Ian....and good 'afterthoughts'....
My "new N" ain't no G, but it got me to Halifax and beyond at a healthy clip following Deane Sunday eve, and then back again alone last Friday morning.
Deane and I almost beat the dark last Sunday on our way to the coast.
I must say, tho, getting back into the M and even the Solara was a treat back in Cambridge....
