Nope, I still haven't received my VIN# yet and I just called my salesman and he said that he would call me back before 6:00PM to let me know if it's available or not. I guess I should just be patient, but it's hard to wait.

As far as your second question, yes, if you cancel your order at Agincourt then you have to start the process all over again at the next dealer. At least that is what I was told and I can't really see how you could do it any differently unless you were to get the new dealer to buy the cancelled order vehicle from Agincourt somehow.

The dealer hasn't told me yet how long I have to wait after I get my VIN#, but other members of this forum have said it could be 2-3 weeks.

I'm starting to think that I should have bought the Cobra that I had my eye on back in February.

 

I bought my car at agincourt, ordered Feb. got it in the begining of May. My salesman gave me the VIN about a week before it arrived, he said it was in Vancouver when he gave me the VIN. hope that helps

 

Sammy, u ordered ur car at April and is a May production car right? If so, u really should be getting ur VIN# right now... Wut color and wut package did u order? I ordered mine on end of May and is a June production car, and i got my VIN# today... Seriously, if u didn't get ur VIN# u should start call in and bitch at them, don't talk to the sales, talk to their manager... I went in today and said i wanna cancelled my order since i didn't even get my VIN# yet, they immedietely make some call and get me my VIN#, so go into the dealership, and find their manager.... The manager also offer me spoiler or lifetime oil change as their apology... anywayz, their manager tell me if i really want a G35c right away, they got a Black on black G35c 5AT w/ performance package in stock... someone order it but decide to get the Nav... it just come in today, if u want it u can call Gary (416) 291-1784, and ask and get ur car tmr, just tell them Johnson send u.... he will be leaving for holiday after thursdays tho, so if he's not in, ask for michael C(I almost decide to take that one since i can get it tmr and driving it, but my parents keep telling me to get the silverstone one that they like, so...o wel, 2 more weeks of waiting..)

I also called the Oakville and talk to their sales manager, they got a Desert Platium 5AT, Brilliant Silver 5AT, and Red 5AT all with performance for immediate delivery... they also got one Black 6MT and one Silverstone 5AT base in stock... And one Black 5AT with performance coming in next week... So if any of the above match wut u want, cancel ur order right now and go to agincourt for the black or oakville for the rest... u should go in to ur dealership tmr and tell them u wanna cancel ur order since u didn't even get ur vin#, see wut they can do, else, goto the other dealer and pick ur G up withing 2 weeks! good luck!

Thanks for all the info, but I'm kinda stuck with Willowdale due to other securities on my trade-in. They gave me the best trade-in value on my car so that is why I went with that dealer instead of Agincourt. We're talkin $2500 dollars more than Agincourt offered but in exchange I had to guarantee my deposit (non-refundable) and they guaranteed the trade-in value. This is why I have to stick it out and just be patient or otherwise loose my $1000 deposit.

The car I ordered was a Silverstone/Graphite Coupe 6MT with NAV and Aero package. It seems that all of the cars that you mentioned are AT probably because of better resale value, but I really don't want this kind of car without a 6-speed. My current ride has an AT and I really miss shifting through the gears.

My dealer did call me back and told me that my car should be here by end of July like they stated when I bought it, but I was hoping that they would get it in sooner. I have already bought some Maya DTM's 8.5 x 20 and 10 x 20 wheels that are just sitting in my garage waiting for my car to arrive. I'll post pictures when they are on the car.

Good trade-in value eh? This was one of the major reason I went with Agincourt too!! And I remember 35Bills had the same experience...What year/model was the car you traded in? Mine was a 99 Jeep Sahara, no A/C, stick, with 60K kms. Traded in for $20,500 before tax savings
