hehe you are right Tauseef, that's exactly what I thought about my 16s. Mine look soso, but Chico's are on the top of the scale. His setup makes other winter setups look blah.

You guys are funny. The clearance is pretty good but I don't think I'll be going out on days when the snow is too deep. I say clear to slushy roads is what I can handle.

Question for you

I'm reconsidering this whole thing about putting 20's next spring. I saw a set of Volks in 19's that liked a lot. So we'll see!

Anyway, here are some pics. Let me know what you think.
Hi Chico, nice looking ride man
I have a Charcoal grey Aero 2004 G sedan as well, considering putting on 18 x 8 wheels with 40mm offset
Question for you is will these fit without issues and would you go chrome or polished( I have 2 sets to choose from)
Thanks a bunch man
E

why not?
it's just a simple offset question that any 1st gen sedan owner can answer for him.
I forget most of 1st gen specs, but IIRC sedans were 18"x7.5" (+45mm)?

I use this calculator a lot to figure out wheel spacing

..so for 8" et40 = 1mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 11mm

LOL...wow!!! this is really old...I had forgotten all about it. The is answer is yes, they will fit just fine. The set up you see in those pics are 18x8 +30 offset with 235/45/18 and I've never had any issues with them. Sadly, the car is for sale.
