GTA members! Beware of Willowdale Nissan/Infiniti!
I've had a bad experience with this dealership, not with a G35 but with another Infiniti vehicle. I had planned on buying a G35 coupe from them in the spring, but I will never return to that place ever again.
I had bought an off lease Infiniti from them, and shortly after taking ownership, found that the vehicle had a problem. Since purchasing the vehicle I've been back to their service department 4 times in total, each time I was extremely disappointed with the level of service their staff provided. The most disturbing part was that I was told by one of their service advisors after my 3rd visit, that the problem was not with the service department, but that it was with the sales department, which was not authorizing the proper warranty repair of my vehicle. After being given the run around by their staff with promised calls that were never returned, being lied to and manipulated, the problem still isn't fixed. I am taking my complaints to a representative at Nissan headquarters, in hopes that he will be able to help me.
In the meantime, I would advise anyone intending on purchasing a Nissan/Infiniti vehicle or in need of service to avoid Willowdale Nissan/Infiniti at all costs.
At the time of purchase of my vehicle, I was told by the used sales manager that the dealership was the #1 dealer in Toronto. I expected good things from them, but was sorely disappointed.
I hope that anyone who reads this will benefit from my mistake.

I've also heard many bad things about Willowdale Nissan/Infiniti from several people at Freshalloy.com
The recommended dealer in the GTA appears to be ALTA Infiniti.

Black_13, my salesman's name was Randy. He seemed like a fairly decent guy. He was pretty helpful in the beginning, but I think when management at the dealership stepped in, his hands were tied. He was supposed to call me when they got a G35 coupe in. I haven't heard from him in quite awhile now, I figure because they don't want to see us in the dealership. We're probably a burden to them, or they don't want us to make a scene.
It's too bad, because I wouldn't mind giving my sale to Randy, but after my horrible experience I'm never going back. I also know of atleast 2 other friends who are planning on leasing new Infiniti's next year so we'll be visiting a lot of Willowdale's other competitors in the GTA in the coming weeks. The dealership that gives us the best service and deal will get our sale!
I think we really need some sort of message board or site, where people can log their experiences at dealerships. Maybe something like an Ebay feedback system. I'm tired of hearing stories of the poor consumer being taken advantage by the big bad dealership. Now that we're in the age of information, it's time for the consumer to rise up against the corporations! Sorry for the rant, it's late and I'm tired.

Wow, this is pretty harsh but I guess the dealership deserves what they do to their customers. I've had bad experiences at that dealership as well, due to my age and the price of Infiniti's. We went to ALTA and have great experience with them. Too bad they can't read this post. Someone fax this to their sales manager...that would be pretty jokes.
What do other people think about these dealerships and the Nissan/Infiniti dealership at McCowan and Sheppard? I need opinions on this dealership and it's service dept. since it's closer to my house. Thanks!

I know that the sales managers and some of the sales staff from Willowdale surf Freshalloy.com. I posted on there but there doesn't seem to be as much of a reaction on that board. I will probably be going to Alta to get my G coupe, seeing as we've heard some good things about that dealership. It's quite a bit out of the way but at this point I'm willing to make the trip.
Rumble, the dealership at McCowan and Sheppard is also very close to me. I've only been in there for sales, and they seem to be ok, but then again most sales departments are until after they've completed the sale. I might want to try their service department as well. Does anyone else have any experience with them?

Well, I got my G from agincourt infinti/nissan, as well as my previous maxima se... so I've been a customer there for years...
In my opinion, I will rank their service just ok...I've had both good and bad experience but it really depends on who you are dealing with... from my own experience I will recommend Michael in the service department. He is the guy that I would trust the most in that dealership...

I also bought from the Agincourt Infiniti. It was just close to where I live and happened to be the first dealership I saw the G from. Bought on impulse and was very lucky that I actually got a good deal and the car is just excellent. As for the dealer itself, well, it's a dealership, I don't really have high expectation out of any car dealerships, don't forget, that profession is ranked as one of the lowest on the Professional Ethics chart. Therefore, I have no problem giving them !##% if I have a problem with my car. As far as I concern, I am paying for their salaries hence they all better be nice to me

My family dealt with Michael (sales) as well. That is where we went 3 times and 2 were to test the G35. However, we did not deal with them since they said they couldn't give us a discount on the car and that the trade in for our old Benz wasn't as good as we hoped. We then were recommended to check out Alta by one of my dad's friends and we ended up purchasing there, where they gave us the best trade in value and discounts on the G35. Great place to deal with. Mathew (sales manager) there is a really smart guy. No BS. Like I said, I should get paid for doing this.

A little update on my situation, I've been exchanging e-mails with a rep at Nissan HQ. He had Willowdale call me back to book another apointment, but I had said that I never wanted to return to that dealership ever again.
The service manager at Willowdale did however call me today to ask me what was happenning with my vehicle. You would think that after 4 visits, this service manager would at least had given me a courtesy call to see if my problem was solved. It's sad that it took an e-mail from Nissan HQ for him to actually call me. This is actually a brand new service manager that Willowdale had hired. Seems that Willowdale's service department was already having problems before, and this new service manager was hired to 'fix things'. Anyways, he told me that he thought that my problem was a consistent hard start, when I had made it extremely clear since my first visit that it was an intermitent hard start. The service manager had said that they started it infront of my fiance when she picked up the car and it started fine. I told him that regardless of whether it started fine at the dealership that day, it isn't starting properly now. In the end he said that he was going to close my file since I wasn't returning for service, and I told him that that would be fine. I've said it once and I'll say it again:
DO NOT GO TO WILLOWDALE NISSAN/INFINITI!!!

well... the guy (Michael) that I was refering to is a service consultant, not a salesperson...
personally I would not recommend any sales guy to anyone... like someone said, their ultimate goal there is to rip you off at all cost, not to be honest with you...
but a service guy might be different, since there is no (or should be less) comission involved...
