Does anyone know if there is any warranty coverage for the OEM Michelins? I tried calling the dealer but was left on hold for over 10 minutes.

Got a nail in the left rear the other day and tire shop says it's not really repairable (right at the edge of the tread). They fixed it for me anyways 'cuz I know them but they said to keep an eye on it. Well, it's starting to bulge near the sidewall and it doens't look too promising. A new tire is about $470 - OUCH!!

 

Blitz_G35, I'm afraid you're SOL, the same thing happened to me and had to dish out the same for a new rear tire. A piece of metal had pierced the rubber and waste way to close to the side wall. My OEM one had less than 5000 klicks on it. What a waste of a good tire. Look on the bright side. The new replacement tire WILL have road hazard; but since you dished out 5 bills for it, we ought to get at least that.

actually there is an warranty you can buy. I remember dfw_infiniti on the other board selling these through his dealership .... coverage included canada and was virtually the price of 1 tire (i think)
