Hi Kevin,
I've been washing the G weekly since you did her at the Detailing meet. She continues to look great.
Maybe a silly question, but the inside of my exhaust is black( surprise ) and I'm wondering if there is anything I could use to get some of the carbon off.
Thanks for all the great info. btw.
Sam

Hey Sam; glad to hear she's still lookin' good. On exhausts I use two products depending on how much gunk there is. If it's light, Nevr Dull (available at CT) is a good solution; it's wadding with metal polish on it, just rub lightly and then wipe away.

Alternatively if you want something with a bit more bite you have two choices, Wenol:

http://www.eshine.ca/proddetail.php?prod=96

or P21S:

http://secure.detailedimage.com/Merc...ory_Code=Metal

Both are good. The P21S is slightly better imo.

Cheers.

Sam , We will be checking for nice shiny tips at our mini-lunch meet on Monday, inside and out .
Also on the outside of the tips I found Wheelwax works really well, they never look dirty since applying a couple of coats. The Wheelwax is made to withstand higher temperatures.
See you Monday.

Thanks Kevin, I'll try the ct stuff.
Wayne, as long as you don't bring Qtips along to check my tubes I think I'll pass surface inspection.,

Update with some pics and info. BTW guys I re-did my site so if you haven't seen the new one check it out and let me know what you think. Oh and remember all g35driver.com members get 10% off.

Availability this coming week = Tues 7/25, Thurs 7/27, Fri 7/28. The mid-summer slow down is here so I actually have openings!

Sam might recognise these!

Yea Kevin, I recognized the Benz and the bike. Did you get the marks off the exhaust pipe?

Hmmm, I don't know. I must have, it came out really nicely. I didn't see any specifically tough to remove marks. Just gave it a good polish.

Kitchener/Waterloo guys; I think I might be in your neck of the woods with nothing to do on Sunday. My wife kind of muttered "Kitchener...shopping....friends....weekend", which indicates to me that she would like me to drive her to Kitchener on the weekend to shop, and also give her money.

If anyone is free and wants a detail let me know and I will bring my goodies.
