well i ended up getting the noise filter from ebay. It totally removed (ALL) the noise. Works really great and it was very easy to connect.

Heres are some more pictures with the computer installed.

I bought a usb radio and i was hoping it would work perfectly like my stock one did.. boy was i wrong.. the usb comes with a wire antenna and unless im actually touching the wire it will not pick up a single station. When i am touching it most the stations come in perfectly.. i dunno what to do. I tried connecting the wire antenna to the car antenna connection but that doesnt do anything.. I thought maybe there was some wiring i needed to connect so the antenna would somehow.. turn on?? maybe an antenna amp?? but i couldnt find any information of something like that even inside my car. Anyone have any suggestions on getting this working?

ill be glad to show ya. im in the matthews/minthill area. closest intersection would be idlewild and 51. i can meet you there by subway if youd like sometime. id prefer it if youd give me a week or so. im in the middle of getting my usb hub wired up. The hub comes with an ac power supply which will be useless in a dc system so im ordering a linear dc power regulator to fix the issue that will take a while to do.

thanks daggo but i can make one better. i bought a 7port usb hub off ebay for $5 and bought a voltage regulator ($2)(part #: 497-3436-5-ND) that converts any input from 6.6v to 30v and outputs a constant 5v at 3 amps. basically whats inside that $85+shipping usb hub you posted is what im doing here but at a fraction of the price.

Its always cheaper to do stuff yourself

the stock computer voltage output on the headphone jack is low. you will need a usb creative labs sound blaster live or osmething like that to ge the voltage level up. i think typicaly stereo out voltage is around 1.5V and a cd player is 4V. the creative labs usb sound card option is about 3v so it will get the job done.
