Its just you. J/K I had taken that photo right after I installed it, The plexi framing didn't click into place properly in the cubby but its adjusted now. I'll repost an updated pic soon.

Sweet. That would suck if it was not fixable.

Looks good.

revive!

like the setup, I've been contemplating building a carPC into a small micro ITX case but i didn't think it would fit into the upper cubby of my '04 G35 Sedan... I think I'll give it a whirl though. I'm a freelance computer technician and have tons of parts lying around so I don't think it would be too expensive, just a new motherboard and powersupply, wires and some time.

Thank you for the inspiration =]

Should be a lot easier using a micro or mini itx boards. I would suggest into looking into the solid state drives and don't forget to ghost your drive after you have everything setup. I've had 2 failures already....one was an older drive with bad timing and the other, the body shop shorted during a major repair.

Good stuff man I'm gonna use your install as a basis for mine. I just got rid of my VW with a carpc and getting ready to take on the task on my new 04 G35. I'll certainly have plenty of questions for you on the LCD portion and I'm gonna keep my carpc from the VW.

Did you have to do anything special to fit the mini itx board in the cubby? I have a m2-atx, mini itx board, and 2.5 hard drive that I need to fit into that space.

Sorry I completely missed the pics on the 1st page and saw that you fit the mini itx and m2 in the upper cubby. Where did you mount your hard drive though? I don't seem to see it.
