Fitting a Mac Mini into the Second Glove Box with the Din Converter

Hey,

Does anyone know if the G35 Din Converter from Digitalwheelz will hold a Mac Mini? The dimensions on the mini are 6.5" X 6.5" X 2" It seems within spec from the digitalwheelz site but has anyone tried?

Thanks.

Thanks, I think the Aopen case is a little shorter, 1.7" or so, the mini is coming in next week so I will let you know. Worst case, a little dremel work never hurts, hehe.

I think I've seen someone who put a Mac Mini or iBook into his G35, but I can't seem to find the site where I saw it. For now, you could track down the guy who put his Mac Mini in an M45:

Thanks for the info, I will get some pics up once the Mini comes in. Mp3car had the screen here in less than one day, unfortunately there are some flaws with it so it will have to be returned for a new one.

I bought one of these, I think this may be a better option than alot of stand-alone converters.

you do need one when trying to install an AOpen Pandora or Mac Mini into the upper glove box. Unfortunately the "block" that is commonly found surrounding DVI & VGA plugs (you know, that one with the two posts that screw the end into the socket on the board) is too big with the metal brace being where it is in the rear of the upper glove box area.
