Car Battery replacement - watching dvds

Hi guys,

Since I purchased the StreetDeck bundle and it has the option to watch DVD's, should I invest in a different car battery? I mean, sometimes I would like to watch dvd's in a parking garage while waiting for my girlfriend to finish her shopping . What car battery should I go for? If it's not necessary to buy a new one, should I just get a battery jumper kit? If so, which one works well? Thanks.

Youd be best getting a 2nd deep cycle battery and a battery isolator an keeping your stock battery for just starting the car

Ive heard Walmart has some pretty reasonably priced deep cycle batteries

yes get an Optima Yellow Top D35 to replace your Stock OEM battery

Trust me that is the battery you want. either that or an Optima Yellow Top D51R. but the D35 will give the most power and is deep cycle hold on I will find some links...

D51R is smaller but can hold juice for about an hour running carPC but with AMPS off. In standby mode, while still powering USB devices, it lasted me about 2 days before not being able to crank. I just set my cutoff threshold higher on my CarNetix P1900 and all has been well (11.25 V cutoff instead of 10.6V).
