I keep on washing it. It looks amazing. I drive it for lets say 5 minutes. Next thing you know theres a ton of dust and crap all over it. I cant seem to keep it clean! I wish I could just wash it off with the water hose and let it dry, but we all know what happens if you do that.

What do you guys suggest?

Im starting wonder if I did the right decision by going black.

I got desperate and used the first thing I saw.... a Swiffer Duster.

And by experience let me tell you, DONT USE THAT!

Its weird it didnt leave any (noticeable) marks. But when its in the sun, you can see some weird white patterns that move around as you move to see it. I wonder what that is.

i feather dust my black g and quick detail it everynight. But still once you wash it and drive it out the driveway the tires kick up the dust. Zaino-ing the hell out of the car helps with the dust a little.

California dust it first thing in the morning before leaving for works helps a ton.. The car is nice and cool then.. Of course I park it in a garage. No way I would ever get a black car it if was not parked in a garage overnight. With a black car you do know that major work will be needed to keep it clean... I keep a towel in the backseat. I use it to close the trunk so that I don't get finger prints on it.

The best colored car to own is a Dirt-colored car.

Apparently Infiniti didn't feel that "Dirt" was a suitable color to carry in their Infiniti lineup.

My old 240SX was like a dirtish-gold color, and that thing always looked clean. I wonder if the Bronze colored Z's hide dirt well.

Any color that reflects alot will obviously show the dirt more apparently than metallic colors. That is why DG/DP/BS's always have a cleaner than usual look to them. All non metallic colors, such as LR/AB/CB/TB will show dirt much more. One extreme advantage to non metallic colors, is that they react alot better to waxing than metallic paints, Black being the best. The best way to protect a black car, is from the day you pick it up brand new from the dealership, wash it, claybar, wash again, and then wax with a sealant. Do this every 3 months, with the occasional polish, and your black paint and clear coat should look very good for the years to come.

yup i do the same thing too..why dont they put in a handle slot like sedans have in under the trunk! I also make people close the doors with the handles so that they dont get finger prints on the corners
