armor all gel wash

armor all gel wash

hey guys (picus and g35stilez especially)

whats your take on that blue armor all gel car wash? i use it on my current car because it's really easy to use... it seems to work well, but i dont know what effect it has on wax that's already on the car, do you guys know?

I stay away from all products made by Armor All. I personally use the Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo.

Heya - I've not used it, though I am sure in the right concentration it is likely not stripping off wax. That said, the fact that they seem to advertise high foaming ability is a little wiggy; despite popular belief it's usually better to see *less* foam in a car wash, since foam indicates high use of detergents, and detergents can strip wax. Without looking at the bottle to see what's in it I'd recommend something like Meg's Deep Crystal or Gold Class if you want a cheap but effective soap that's ph balanced and will not strip wax.
