Willow interior maintenance

Hi,

For those of you with willow interior, how hard is it to keep clean? Do you notice scuff marks easily? Will they come out with condition/cleaning treatment?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Willow interior maintenance

All I can say is it's high maintenance if you want to keep it clean all the time. Black scuff marks are very visible and depending on how hard is was scuff it can be hard to take off.

Re: Willow interior maintenance

All scuffs in my interior have been limited to the kick panels and rocker panels, and they came right off with a damp towel. The floor mats are a bit more difficult, but a quick vacuum and a shot of Resolve (one time for me so far in 3200mi) and they look new.

For scuffs, the armor all cleaner wipes work great. I use Lexol on the leather (clean then condition) every so often - if needed. My interior looks great - 8 months and I drive about 3500 miles monthly; winter and all.

Re: Willow interior maintenance

I bought me some cheapy towels that close to matched the interior and put them on the floor boards. i enjoy looking at all the crap in the towels that i'm keeping off the actual carpet.

Re: Willow interior maintenance

invest in Lexol cleaner + conditioner, and use it every 3 months. it'll stay squeaky clean

Re: Willow interior maintenance

What's the point of enjoying the carpets if you can't even see them? kinda tacky for a nice car in my view. I'd rather just wash the mats every so often and replace them every year or so.

Re: Willow interior maintenance

you are right sicshift.... thats the whole point of removable carpet, to protect the real carpet underneath them. So why add a 3rd tacky-looking layer to that?
