3M Clearbra removal
I am thinking about removing the clearbra from just my hood, leaving the front bumper covered. Can I just gently heat with a hair dryer and start pulling from one corner?
thanks
thanks
Yep.
You might want to use a plastic razor blade to get it going.
When removing, keep heating the area that is just coming un-adhered. Don't leave a long piece of material to be pulled...In other words, when you pull it off, move your hands close to the hood so that there is little space between. This will insure a stronger removal.
When off, be sure to follow up with rubbing alcohol or a adhesive remover. After, seal with your favorite sealant or wax.

Thanks. Once I have it off I planned on Klasse (the older version)AIO (the whole car) and then JW AJ sealant. I'm switching back to a sealant from carnuaba.

I want to remove the section on the hood because I am very **** about detailing my G35 and the section of hood with the clearbra just does not give the same sharp reflections that the rest of the hood does. It's a minor thing that most people don't even notice....but I do
