silly question about Coupe tinting
Re: silly question about Coupe tinting
I just can't believe how stupid this whole coupe window thing is. I'm just floored by it. What kind of idiot came up with this idea? What possible benefit does having the windows lower provide?
You're telling me that if I disconnect the battery I can permanently damage the windows? What if I take the car into a capable mechanic who's not familiar with the car and he disconnects the battery for safety reasons while doing something else?

Maybe it was the "idiots" over at Porsche? My friend's Boxter does the same thing. He told me it was because our windows don't have a top frame and something else to do this pressure inside the cabin.

Re: silly question about Coupe tinting
It is because we don't have an upper frame on our doors. This way you can get a good seal when you close the door.
