removing touch up paint..help!

anyone here know how to remove touch up paint?? i think i did a ****ty job with the touch up paint and i gave it some time to set...like 2 hours. it wasnt done properly so i tried to take it off with some alcohol but no luck..just a crappier job. so i decided to just brush somemore touch up paint over the scratch and to just let it set, then clear coat it, then wet sand the area and hopefully it will look ok. so its setting right now over night, but i really wanna just start over. any ideas?? if i dont like the ultimate job can i remove the touch up paint? thanks for all the help in advance!

If it's only been sitting for a few hours a decent solvent should remove it. Was the rubbing alcohol you used diluted? It should dissolve it. If not you can try mineral spirits. If that doesn't do it lacquer thinner will.

yeah you can wet sand but it's dangerous. Too much and you'll bust thru the clearcoat and dull the finish or worse yet burn the paint and you'll be left with a dark spot.
