homemade spray wax?

I know on a Klasse site they tell you to mix water and aio to use as a quick detailer of sorts. seems to work okay for me. I was looking for a way to use something similar to touch up a wax like s100/p21s. Do you think you could take a liquid carnauba wax and cut it with water and use it? any suggestions? thanks

I use in my regiment the Klasse AIO/SG and follow up with several coats of P21S.....I always thought the results were phenomenal...Many would disagree, saying the Zaino is the way to go.....
I live in NJ, and as a result I can not purchase Zaino directly...so I refuse to order it through an outside source.....But thats just me...

Back to your question......

I don't think it is possible to mix carnauba wax with water.....it is usually refined with petroleum products to soften them......

However, I have found that as a routine maintenance after waxing...Sonus detailing products give me the best results...

Check out the items below

Sonus

Sonus detailing spritz

I have them both along with the acrylic spritz for synthetic applications only.

Heres a couple shots of my car after a Klasse/P21S application...enjoy and good luck with your decision

Whaaa?????

Seeing as how one of the main properties of wax is to REPEL water......

how do you think this could work?

The spray detailers are a blend of all sorts of chemicals to get that to happen.

It can be done with a sealant, but afaik it can not be done with a wax. If you want a *very* similar look to P21S but in a spray, give Optimum Car Wax a try.

+1 on OCW, or if you have a local Carquest, pick up some duragloss aquawax, probably one of the most popular OTC spray waxes out there with excellent gloss and slickness
